Today I’m sharing with you 5 useful tips for organise your closet when season changes.
Spring is sprung, it is time to put away the winter clothes and start to wear colours and light fabrics. When the season changes you have the possibility to think about your outfit and to reorganise your wardrobe, it is the perfect time to make a change, to clean and to tidy up.
Are you ready?
First of all, you have to decide what you want to keep, donate or throw away. I don’t want to spend a lot of time on this topic, because I dedicated a whole blog to this theme, so I suggest you to read it, if interested (link)
Freshen up: take the time to clean your wardrobe before to put your clothes back (this is the perfect time to do it, because it is empty). Before to reorganise the clothes, I suggest you to put some bags of lavender or similar 👈.
Be sure that all the clothes are clean and smelling fresh, if not wash them or get them dry cleaning.
Don’t forget your shoes: before storing the unnecessary shoes, you have to clean them, and if necessary, go to a cobbler.
You can wear the mid-seasons clothes all the year, so keep them on hand.
HOW TO ORGANISE YOUR SPACE?

They allow you to use limited spaces (you can store them everywhere). They also give some colour in your rooms.
There a many kinds of boxes (different colours, shape, sizes, …) I like the ones with small window that allow to see the content (but you can also write it down).
If you have few drawers and you usually store some kind of clothes in boxes (for example bikinis), you can easily move the box from your cellar to your wardrobe.
When you put away your winter clothes, don’t forget to add some anti-moth in the box, to protect your wool dresses.
This is a clever idea if you haven’t a lot of space (not only for clothes but also for blankets, pillows etc.)
It is very easy, you can buy here all you need and you can find bags of different sizes.
You can use these special bags for coats, evening gown and all the clothes that you like more and you don’t want to ruin.
The same for your shoes. If you like to maintain them in good condition you have to take care of them. You can keep your shoes in the original box or buy something. Do not forget to fill your boots and high hills with paper (so they won’t change their shape).
